One Big Thank You

We are so proud to see CFC CEO, Mike Grisenthwaite, being surprised by BBC1’s The One Show as part of their “One Big Thank You” series.

Mike was lured to our Charity Bike Shop at Canada Water under the pretence of doing some filming for internal use…..but the universe (and The One Show) had other plans. Cue: comedian and TV host Alexander Armstrong walking in, messages from families Mike has supported, staff from Great Ormond Street Hospital, and even a cameo from six-time Olympic cycling champion Sir Chris Hoy!

For 20 years, Mike and CFC have turned donated equipment into brand‑new bikes and trikes for children affected by cancer, supporting 10,000+ families along the way.

A well‑timed surprise for someone who spends every day making a difference, congratulations Mike, thoroughly deserved.
